MON REGRET / Product Range & Distribution

Product

The product is a publication which combines practices such as graphics and photography and adopts an artistic outlook. It acts as an archive of regret submissions from mon-regret.tumblr.com, submitted by the public, with around 50 regrets in total (approx). Publication contains type and relevant photography which communicates submissions visually alongside the literary. 60 pages on 80 GSM newsprint, folded.

Range

For the project, there is the website and publication, which there will only be one of. People are still free to post to the website at any point. The publication is a special limited edition project using data from the website, it would be a concern that if there was anymore publications of the same nature, the impact would be lost and it would be dragged out too much. 

Distribution


MON REGRET the publication could be sold in niche bookstores such as Village, Colours May Vary or Actual Source. Due to the nature of the publication, and the target audience of arty millennials (from ages 18-30), it would not be appropriate to sell in a commercial environment, as it may lose it’s ‘edge’ amongst books by Jamie Oliver. From research, it is clear that the publication would fit in with other publications sold in the previously mentioned stores.
