This is a community driven art/design project, and has a very personal nature; individuals took time out of their day to interact with the website and physically submit a response. To communicate this further, as currently the submissions are digital, I wanted to experiment with hand rendered techniques.
To show the personal nature of the project, I asked members of the class to write out a selection of regrets in their hand writing. This generated a variety of writing that could be used within the project, however I felt that this could appear inconsistent. If others were to use their handwriting, there could even be legibility issues which I want to avoid. The style of this also would not correspond with the website.
All the different hand writing was interesting to see altogether, however, and it definitely would add more of a personal touch to the project. Because there is around 50-60 regrets, this could pose a problem finding that many people in the space of time, and would result in replications, decreasing the authenticity of the project too.
