Post Secret is an ongoing community art project where individuals anonymously send secrets on one side of a postcard. They are posted on postsecret.com every Sunday. Since it is anonymous, PostSecret has recieved some very open secrets. It gives someone the freedom to write whatever they want, knowing it can't really be traced back to them. In my own project, I want to give the individual the same powerful feeling of being able to say whatever they want. In submitting the PostSecret, I assume this makes the person feel better that they've got something off their chest that they've been keeping.
