We began to brainstorm initial names as a group, focusing on impactful sentences/key words at first.
Some names we accumulated through brainstorming included:
Eventually we began focusing on names which celebrate the work of the students within the show rather than a focus on leaving the college. We thought this was a more positive spin on the EYOS and would leave a less sentimental or disposable impression, and more of an impact.
The final concept which was the favourite, was Lo & Behold, further developed and simplified into 'Behold'.
Behold, the Concept:
Behold highlights each student and offers them to take center stage. Everyone has their own time to shine within the EYOS, as we are LCA, and deserve the limelight for the evening. Our concept aims to approach the exhibition with a contemporary yet grand stylistic treatment, offering an element of mystery, which will create an enticing atmosphere which will make the audience want to see more.
